Ten years across three roles, working the same question from different sides. Aircrew operations and TTP development in the Air Force, intelligence production and program leadership at the FBI, and supply chain risk analysis for missile defense now.

1. May 2026 to present

   PingWind Inc.

   Huntsville, AL

   Data Analyst, Red Team

   Red team technical data analyst on a missile defense program that reports directly to the Deputy Secretary of War. Produces risk reporting for SES and 4-star level decisions on contract award and investment.

   Maps how adversaries reach into the systems built to defend against them, tracing foreign ownership, sole-source dependency and concentration risk down through supplier tiers most program offices never look at. The analysis is only half of it. The other half is translation: turning a tangle of corporate and geopolitical exposure into something a decision maker can act on in one page.

   VTG, supporting the FBI

   Huntsville, AL

   Team Lead, Intelligence Analyst III

   Team lead and Intelligence Analyst III on one of the FBI's largest units, producing 50+ actionable intelligence reports weekly in support of counterterrorism and counterintelligence operations.

   Four years in which the job widened from producing intelligence to building the conditions other people produce it in: staffing an 80 person contract, standing up its compliance program, briefing executives, and helping steer the engineering team modernizing the classified systems in use at all 56 field offices. The lesson that stuck is that analytic failures are usually organizational before they are analytic.

3. Apr 2016 to Apr 2022

   United States Air Force

   Travis AFB, CA

   Instructor In-Flight Refueling Operator

   Instructor in-flight refueling operator on the KC-10A, 1,900+ flight hours including 1,000+ in combat, running qualification and instructor upgrade programs for the unit's boom operators.

   Six years flying the mission and then teaching it, with a second job running the unit acquisitions office and its FAR and DFAR requirements from the customer's side of the table. Everything since started here: reading adversary capability out of intelligence during large scale joint exercises and turning it into tactics aircrew could actually fly in a contested environment.
